De Universiteit Utrecht professionaliseert het komende jaar het inkoop- en aanbestedingsproces. Enerzijds om te voldoen aan de eisen die de Europese wetgeving stelt en anderzijds om het proces te optimaliseren. De rechtmatigheid wordt zo geborgd, er is beter inzicht in uitgaven en verplichtingen, er kan efficiënter ingekocht worden en er kan waar nodig bijgestuurd worden.
In het kader van deze professionalisering wordt het softwareprogramma SAP-SRM uitgerold binnen de UU en het wordt per 18 februari ook in gebruik genomen bij GW.
