De rechtbank in Amsterdam heeft vrijdag de aanvraag van het faillissement van V&D door de Noord-Hollandse winkeleigenaar Komen Vastgoed verworpen. Dat heeft RTL Nieuws gemeld.

In februari bereikte winkelketen V&D een akkoord met het overgrote deel van haar verhuurders over een eenmalige voorwaardelijke huurkorting. Een klein aantal verhuurders ging niet akkoord met die afspraken. Volgens het warenhuis was de maatregel noodzakelijk om te kunnen overleven.

Ook op de verhuurders die niet akkoord gingen paste V&D de huurkorting toe. Daarop spanden de vastgoedbedrijven Mondia en Metroprop een kort geding aan en vroeg Komen Vastgoed uit Heerhugowaard het faillissement aan.
