Recht tegenover ons wonen studenten.
Overdag slapen ze of ze studeren.
‘s Nachts is er wel eens feest.
Ze maken dan veel lawaai:
eerst draaien ze vreselijke muziek,
daarna horen we luide gesprekken op straat,
waarbij ze hard lachen en roepen.
Het gevolg is dat wij niet kunnen slapen.
Mijn man is er laatst heen gegaan.
Ze wilden niet naar hem luisteren.
Toen hebben we de politie gebeld.
Na een tijdje werd het stil.
